Drilling
Before drilling, observe the wiring direction of water and electricity to prevent mistakes. The interval between the holes should not be too large, otherwise the skirting line will not be able to stick to the wall.
Drill holes in the wall with special tools. The common length of the skirting line is 2m. In order to fix the skirting line more firmly, the interval between the holes should be about 40cm, and the interval at the interface should be smaller. Nail the small wooden strip into the hole just made. The nails that fix the skirting line are nailed on this wooden strip. Nail it directly on the wall. The nails are easy to loosen.
Fixing
Before fixing the skirting, the wall surface should be leveled and cleaned, otherwise the skirting will not be completely close to the wall after installation, leaving an unsightly gap.
Fix the position of the drill hole and then fix the skirting with nails. When fixing, pay attention to whether the skirting is close to the wall surface, and the nails should be completely immersed in the skirting so that they cannot be seen.
Corner treatment
At the corners of the wall, where the skirtings intersect, the edges of the skirtings should be cut at a 45-degree angle so that no unsightly marks will be left at the joints. Fix the cut skirtings.
